BANG & OLUFSEN UNVEILS BEOSYSTEM 72-73 NORDIC DAWN SOUND SYSTEM

Bang & Olufsen has unveiled the limited-edition Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn - a time transcending music system that connects the years 1972 and 2023 by merging immersive music experiences from both vinyl and digital streaming...

Inspired by the light of a Scandinavian sunrise, the warm Honey, Ginger, and Amber Tone aluminium finishes come together with a perfectly crafted Birch Wood panel to shape the heart of the system - the iconic Beogram 4000c turntable. The Beogram 4000c has been recreated by hand and customised for the first time in the Nordic Dawn colourway to create an aesthetic that is reminiscent of soft mornings in the Scandinavian meadows. The timeless turntable is accompanied by a matching pair of the modern Beolab 28 stereo speakers for a refined and immersive stereo sound experience. The Beolab 28s are customised in the same warm finishes, with Ginger Tone aluminium, Birch Wood fronts, and Sandthorne Define fabric by leading Danish textile experts Kvadrat.

With a built-in Beosound Core and Beolab Transmitter units, wireless connectivity is ensured, and a customised Beoremote Halo in an Amber Tone aluminium finish allows for seamless control of the system.

Furthermore, the solid Birch Wood cabinet that the Beogram 4000c comes in, is versatile and can store a vinyl record collection, act as a connectivity hub for a smart Bang & Olufsen ecosystem integration, as well as a wireless charging station for the Beoremote Halo.

Swaying rose hip bushes, roaring waves crashing against the glistening sand, and the warm light of the Scandinavian sunrise are all beautifully captured in the Nordic Dawn Beosystem 72-23.

A connection between 1972 and 2023

The Beosystem 72-23 honours more than 50 years of immersive music experiences, evolving design principles, unique brand legacy, and uncompromised craftsmanship. The 100 units of the Beogram 4000c that comprise the Beosystem 72-23 were brought back to Bang & Olufsen's factory in Struer, Denmark, where they first originated in the early 1970s, and were meticulously restored and recreated for the first time in the Nordic Dawn colourway.

The music system is a part of the Recreated Classics Program and a prime example of Bang & Olufsen's commitment to longevity.

The limited-edition consists of only 100 units, each engraved with a unique identification number. Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn Limited-Edition will be available in selected stores in the US, Europe and Hong Kong from 16th May 2023 proced from 60,000 EUR, 55,000 GBP, 550,000 HKD, 450,000 DKK, 65,000 USD.
