LEWIS HAMILTON SURPRISES TERMINALLY ILL FAN

In a rare act of kindness Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes have surprised a five-year-old boy in the UK suffering with a rare form of terminal bone cancer by delivering the drivers Formula One car to his home along with his first place trophy from the Spanish Grand Prix.

Five year-old Harry Shaw, from Surrey, sent Hamilton a good luck message on Instagram from his hospital bed the morning of his race which Lewis claimed inspired him to secure his win "When I woke up this morning, I was a bit lost and kind of thinking 'how's today going to go?' and then I saw that message and I was like 'I see you Harry, I've got you'.

The Formula One driver later went on to described the boy as his “spirit angel,” dedicating Sunday’s victory to him before dispatching a number of gifts including a replica Formula One car and the Spanish Grand Prix trophy to Harry's home.
