Day 4 of pre-season testing and finally it seems that Mercedes have decided to show us what the silver arrow can do.
Having kept there cards close to there chest for the first three days of testing with the team seemingly focusing its energies on long fuel runs today the gloves were well and truly off and the W10 finally showed its pace snaking its way up from the bottom of the classification rankings and for some periods of time actually topping the sheet.
Both drivers strapped on the C4 compound with Hamilton securing his quickest lap of the week with a time of 1:17.977, Bottas then went a tenth quicker on the outright fastest tyres when he took over for the afternoon session ending the day in P4 behind Daniel Ricciardo, Alex Albon and Hulkenberg.
