Following the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris where Minnie Mouse called upon the services of British designer Stella McCartney to create her first ever pantsuit, Stella McCartney has unveiled a limited-edition product line inspired by the fan-favorite movie Fantasia will be launched by Stella McCartney.
A unisex capsule of irreverent pieces directly referencing the legendary 1941 animated film. Never-before-seen Fantasia inspired prints and new original graphics define the capsule, delivering a forward-facing nostalgia and youthful optimism on limited-edition pieces. Designed with recycled and regenerated materials, must-have styles include rare posters from the 1940s on repurposed old stock silks from LVMH’s Nona Source, alongside cheeky knitwear featuring Mickey Mouse hand motifs, broomstick graphics and blush satyr scenery.
A Stella first, fringed kaftans with centaurette prints emulate the capsule’s playful spirit, contrasted with remixed, distorted Disney graphics on summer dresses. Organic cotton denim meets the famous mouse with a new Stella logo and Mickey prints on utility shirts and boyfriend jeans.
Vegan accessories round out the collab with velvet shoulder bags shaped in Mickey’s head silhouette, Falabella bags featuring crystal embellishments and logo totes with prints in Mickey’s head/hand silhouette.
