Casio Edifice have unveiled an exclusive Honda Racing high-performance chronograph, the new EQS-800HR.
Honda Racing refers to the motor sports activities of Honda Motor Company. Starting from 2018, Honda Racing started supplying power units to the Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 team, for which EDIFICE also is a supporter.
Honda and EDIFICE both face the technological challenges presented by world-class motorsports, and CASIO created this new limited-edition EDIFICE model with support from Honda. This new model packs the features and functions of the solar-powered EQS-800 base model into a design that uses motor sports carbon fiber material for the face. The design of the watch adopts the red and white image colors of Honda Racing.
The Honda Racing spirit is captured by red accents on the face, a band with a white outside surface and red inside surface, and the Honda logo on the face, the band ring, and back cover. A special package also includes a card commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1968 Honda F1 RA301, which is sure to be a welcome addition the memorabilia collection of Honda fans.
