Schedulled for release in 2025 the British Marques first entry into the EV market certainly boasts some top performance specs. In a recent interview CEO Adrian Hallmark stated that the Bentley EV will boast up to 1,400 horsepower (1,044 kilowatts) and will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 1.5 seconds.
However despite these performance specs Hallmark claims that 0-60 acceleration will not be the main selling point of the EV, stating that the main attribute of the new EV will be "effortless overtaking performance from a huge amount of torque on demand."
For those who wish to take things a little slower Bentley will also offer a slower 0-60 version with acceleration limited to 2.7 seconds.
The new Bentley EV is expected to cost more than €250,000 ($262,250)
