DRINK PINK ..
Updated: Feb 2
As the temperature rises it's time to swap your chilled Chardonnay for the all time summer classic - Rosé.
Rosé has become an ultra-hot wine category over the past several years and is a great hot weather drink, more versatile for food pairings than most whites, going with a broader swath of dishes, making it a perfect for poolside lunch.
Here we pick our top five poolside favourites...
AIX ROSÉ AOP COTEAUX D'AIX EN PROVENCE MAGNUM 2018
A fragrant and well balanced wine, AIX`s hypnotising salmon pink colour reveals a fruity freshness and premium rosé. The nose is fresh and fragrant, delicate yet youthful and offers classy notes of watermelon, strawberries and flowers.
THREE STICKS 2018 CASTEÑADA SONOMA COAST ROSÉ
The 2018 Casteñada Rosé is refreshing, vibrant, and stunning which is why it continues to be one of the most coveted pinks produced in California. Bursting with strawberries and honeysuckle, it is perfect for the warmer months ahead. Made up of mainly Syrah and Grenache, this wine has substance and presence, while Marsanne, Grenache Blanc, and Viognier provide hedonistic aromatics. Fashioned in a 19th-century style bottle this bottle will certainly stand out on any table arrangement.
MIRAVAL ROSÉ 2018
We really didn't want to name drop this Brangelina union but when it taste's and looks as good as it does what can you do! The 2018 vintage is a ray of Provencal sunshine, thanks to the region’s particularly generous climate and nature. The rains at the beginning of the season meant the vines were well-prepared and grew healthily in the spring. Pretty pink in the glass with ripe strawberries, red berries and light herb aromas. Miraval rosé is a fresh and zesty blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle. Dry on the palate with bright red berry, savoury herb and citrus flavours. Chill and pair with a patio.

A bottle of Minuty is more than a simple bottle of wine. It's an invitation to experience Provence, to feel the sun and immerse oneself in the atmosphere of a unique region. This vibrant dry Rosé reveals perfectly harmonized peach and candied orange aromas that carry over a fresh, round palate.
