British actor and muscian Idris Elba has been unveiled as the new face for Gucci 25H timepiece campaign ..
Celebrating 50 years of watchmaking the 25H collection has sharp, clean lines contrasting with finishes and a multi-layered silhouette.
Wearing an array of stylish and luxurious Gucci suits Idris can been seen wearing several automatic editions each fitted with the Maison's new GG727.25 caliber. There is a 40mm steel model, as well as a striking blue aluminum and steel embellished with diamonds version.
There is also and ridescent selection includes different color variations. A glass dial defines the silhouette, changing hue when exposed to light, while the Interlocking G motif appears as a subtle nod to the House’s founder.
The campaign was overseen by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, with makeup and hair done by Jojo Williams and Riaze Foster respectively.
With his raw magnetism and mainstream popularity Elba brings a level of seduction, to the campaign with 70's style poses, contemporary lighting, and a vintage edge the campaign cleverly merges the Maison's history and modernity under the tagline “It’s Gucci Time.”
