ECO FRIENDLY RESORT KISAWA SANCTUARY BECOMES THE WORLD'S FIRST 3D PRINTED RESORT

Located on Benguerra Island in Mozambique, Kisawa Sanctuary aims to seamlessly integrate itself into the natural environment.

Set across the island’s beach, forest, and sand dunes the resort will feature 12 one-, two-, and three-bedroom bungalows . Each of the 2,475-sf bungalows will sit witin one acre of private accommodation and includes a personal beachfront, swimming pool, open deck space, shaded day area, outdoor kitchen, massage hut, and personal e-bikes and mini mokes each decorated and furnished with pieces from local artisans from Mozambique. In addition to the private areas, there will also be four restaurants, tennis courts, water sports facilities, and two bars.

Developed through a partnership between entrepreneur Nina Flohr and the Bazaruto Center for Scientific Studies, a Mozambique-based nonprofit dedicated to the preservation of the local subtropical ecosystem, Kisawa Sanctuary will be 3D-printed using a combination of local sand and seawater to reduce material waste on the site.

Construction of the resort is scheduled to be completed by the middle of next year, with reservation fees set to start from $8,000 USD per night.
