OMEGA UNVEILS TWO NEW CHRONOSCOPE SPEEDMASTERS AHEAD OF THIS YEAR'S PARIS OLYMPIC GAMES

In tribute to OMEGA’s role as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, a role they’ve relished since 1932, Omega is marking the countdown with the release of a new Chronoscope Speedmaster..

In a classic nod to the hosts Omega saw fit to take on its official colours of gold, black, and white, showcasing four models. For the purists, there’s the full stainless-steel model with its sleek, anodized aluminum bezel, for those with a taste for something more expensive there is an 18k solid gold Moonshine with a black ceramic bezel.

Each model boasts a silvery white opaline dial adorned with three dark grey timing scales in a vintage 1940s “snail” design, including a tachymeter, pulsometer, and telemeter scale. This design not only pays homage to Omega’s longstanding precision in timekeeping since its first Olympic role in 1932 but also enhances functionality, offering a range of measurements directly from the wrist.

Inside the watch is powered by Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908 / 9909, certified by METAS—a certification that assures the watch exceeds industry standards for precision, shock absorption, and magnetic resistance and to make sure no one misses the Olympic tie-in, Omega has also included an embossed solid caseback that details the occasion of the 2024 Paris Olympics with the Olympic flame and five rings motif.

The Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope Paris 2024 models are priced at $9,500 USD for the stainless steel on strap, $9,800 for the stainless steel on bracelet, $32,700 USD for the Moonshine Gold on strap and $51,400 USD for the Moonshone Gold on bracelet. For more information, please visit the Omega website.
