Paying tribute to one of the most fascinating stories in European mythology, King Arthur and his knights of the round table has again been immortalized by Roger Dubois with the newest edition of it's iconic watch.
Pushing the boundaries of what's possible with a simply spectacular iteration. In 2022, King Arthur's knights take their place in the hour markers around the Round Table in the most original and creative way we've seen yet.
The recognizable face of the watch is made of twelve micro-scupltures "The Knights" placed around a dial which illistrates "The Table." Each knight is exquisitely handcrafted in 18k pink gold, each knight is complete with medieval armor, plates, shield, and helmet, while their customized weapons are drawn ready to fight.
The table has been replaced by stark black Murano glass cracked to illistrated the ground surrounded with a ring of blood red Murano glass, which is also inset into the crown.
To finish this historic evolution the strap is made of black calfskin leather and has a quick exchange system without the need for tools.
Powered by the 4Hz automatic Monobalancier RD821 calibre, the Excalibur Knights of the Round Table Boutique Edition is limited to just 28 pieces and available via Roger Dubuis boutiques, priced $343,000 USD.
