Is this third time lucky for these plucky little glasses ?

Snap have unveiled a redesigned version of its augmented reality sunglasses with a sleek new design and an added HD camera.

Snapchat Spectacles were first debuted back in 2016 and where offered in instgramable "fun" colors like bright teal and were sold out of pop-up vending machines. People went wild for them, and then they stopped! Snap reportedly lost $40 million on unsold inventory but this did not deter the brand two years of re-engineering led to the second iteration which offered better hardware, and also better design.

Spectacles 3 look set to continue this evolution, the limited edition glasses have a sleeker, slimmer look and are offered in just two colors: black=k or champagne. The upgraded tech: two HD cameras, designed to capture depth and dimension the way your eyes do which lets users take photos and videos by tapping a button on the frame, and transferring them to the Snapchat app.

Spectacles 3 will go on sale on in November for $380.
