A FERRARI CLASSIC GETS A MODERN MAKE-OVER

The world’s most expensive car ever sold the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO is getting a modern-day make-over courtesy of Italian coachbuilder Ares Design.

According to Robb Report the new look Ares' 250 GTO has been designed for a single client to fit the chassis found in Ferrari's 812 Superfas or and F12 Berlinetta models.

With the original Ferrari GTO being revered as one of the most iconic and desirable Ferraris of all time the design of Ares’s recreation will no doubt come under close scrutiny.

Just 36 of the iconic 250 GTOs were made between 1962 and 1964 most recently one was sold for a reported $70million making it the most expensive car ever sold. The Modena-based coachbuilder is planning to build a very limited run – a limited run of just ten cars will be manufactured at a cost of €1m each.
