We all know that Bugatti, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin and Koenigsegg are leaders in the super-car industry but have you heard of Devel Sixteen?
Unveiled at the Dubai International Motor show back in 2017 the 5007 Devel Sixteen production version already has a two year waiting list even though no date has yet been unveiled as to when this monster of a supercar will go into production.
Created by Dubai based Devel, and designed by Steve Morris Racing of America for Drag racing the all-new production model of Devel 16 has a super lightweight, high-strength Carbon fiber body. Extensive research and development into the aerodynamics of the car have lead Devel Motors to push the boundaries of the industry, achieving unprecedented and unparalleled power in a production hyper car.
At present Sixteen will not be street legal, however, Devel is working on two road legal versions of the Sixteen: A V8 with 2,000bhp and a V16 quad-turbo with 3,000bhp. Their projected top speeds are as yet unknown
Devel claim they are to build three variations of the Sixteen. One with a twin-turbo V8 delivering 2000 hp and priced at $1.6 million. The second variant will have 3000 hp twin-turbo V8 priced at $1.8m with the last aforementioned 5000 hp V16 track variation set to cost more than $2million
Earlier this year Canadian Rapper Drake used the very first Devel Sixteen model in his video for his 'I'm Upset' single ( view video below). The car can be seen alongside Drake's La Ferrari in the video.
