MICHAEL SCHUMACHER'S CUSTOM BUILT HONDA FIREBRAND SUPERBIKE HEADS TO AUCTION

A unique racing motorbike once owned by Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher is going under the hammer with an estimated price of between €25,000-€35,000 ..

Based on a 2010 Honda CBR, Holzhauer Racing Performance specially converted this bike from road to race specifications for Michael Schumacher to use during test days.

Sporting race number "77", there are multiple photographs on file that depict Schumacher riding this Honda. It is accompanied by a Schuberth signed helmet and a signed pair of motorcycle gloves.

Now for the first time it is being offered to the public for sale via auction as part of RM Sotheby's The Champions – Schumacher and F1 Legends lot in Munich, Germany.

The bike features an ECU managing the traction control, along with wheelie control, and spin control. HRP fitted special components such as an airbox, oil cooler, handle bars, quick shifter, Akrapovič Titan exhaust system, and much more. A full specifications sheet is available to view on file, which states this bike was used by Schumacher and owned by HRP.

The bike has not been run for a long period of time, so would require servicing and inspection prior to track use. The odometer reads 3,752 kilometres at the time of cataloguing.
