If you love cookies then you are going to love this!
New York City-based Sofia Demetriou who owns Duchess Cookies has unveiled the world’s most expensive cookie retailing at a staggering $1,000.
Covered in 23- carat gold leaf the red velvet cookie is made with imported ruby chocolate but whilst this is extravagant this is not why the cookie retails at $1,000 it is in fact the packaging because the cookie is sold inside a sculpted shoe made of chocolate sitting on top of a fine-china Baccarat catchall with a string of freshwater pearls attached.
For those whose sweet tooth budget doesn't quite stretch that far Duchess Cookies also offers cookies with a more modest price bracket of just $5.50 each.
